Palestinian organizations participate in “sit-in strike” to oppose Israeli law which deducts the amount of money the PA pays in salaries to terrorists and their families from the tax money Israel collects for the PA

Headline: “Sit-in strike opposite the UN headquarters in Ramallah as a sign of opposition to the theft of the allowances of the Martyrs and prisoners”

“Representatives of human rights organizations and additional organizations that deal with the prisoners’ affairs participated in a sit-in strike yesterday, Tuesday [July 24, 2018], which was called for by the national campaign to reject the law robbing the prisoners and Martyrs’ (Shahids’) money (refers to Israeli law deducting terrorist salaries from taxes collected for the PA; see note below –Ed.). The sit-in strike, which took place opposite the office of the [UN] High Commissioner for Human Rights in Ramallah, comes to express opposition to the theft of the allowances (mukhassasat) of the Martyrs and prisoners from the Palestinian tax money…
Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Karake demanded that the UN and its Secretary-General António Guterres bear their responsibility towards that which is happening to the Palestinian people, and oblige the occupation to implement the international conventions and agreements on the prisoners in its prisons.
He also emphasized the need for the UN to make decisions and take steps that will obligate the occupation state to respect the prisoners’ rights, and noted that the violations that it is committing are not limited to just the prisoners, but rather also include their families through the legislation of racist laws against them…
In addition he called for an extensive diplomatic, popular, and public campaign to support and aid the prisoners, and noted that the situation is liable to explode at any moment if Israel implements the deduction law.”

PA Spokesman refers to arson-kites and balloons carrying flammables as “children’s games” in order to attack Israel’s response as “shedding of the unarmed citizens’ blood”

Headline: “The [PA] government: The international silence towards the occupation’s crimes is encouragement [of Israel] to commit additional attacks”

“Official [PA] Government Spokesman Yusuf Al-Mahmoud… said: ‘The occupation’s escalation, to which the Gaza Strip – which is under siege – has been witness in recent hours, constitutes part of the occupation government’s policy towards our residents and the heroic members of our people, in continuation of the tyrannical siege and in continuation of the threats, aggression, and shedding of the unarmed citizens’ blood.’
He added: ‘The occupation is striving to create equations in which there is a parallel between the newest and most lethal fighter jets and a c hildren’s game such as kites (i.e., flaming arson-kites) used by peaceful protesters as one of the means of protest against the siege and the occupation. This is in order to ensure the continuation of its aggression and to justify it before the world.’”

"The March of Return" refers to massive violent riots in Gaza in which thousands of Palestinians are rioting on the border with Israel and attempting to cut through the security fence, attacking with firebombs, flaming kites, and gunfire. The riots began on March 30, 2018, and were scheduled to last for 6 weeks until Palestinian "Nakba" Day on May 15. On the day the US embassy opened in Jerusalem, May 14, 2018, the Palestinian attacks escalated and 62 Palestinians were killed. A senior official of the terror organization Hamas, Salah Bardawil, stated that 50 of the 62 belonged to Hamas, while Islamic Jihad identified 3 others as belonging to it.

Fatah calls on Palestinian VIPs to go to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and carry out Ribat there, in response to Jews calling to “invade” (i.e. visit) the Temple Mount

Headline: "Fatah and the prominent figures in Jerusalem are calling to come out and go up and carry out Ribat at the Al-Aqsa Mosque today"
"The Fatah Movement called on the prominent national figures in Jerusalem, the eternal capital of the State of Palestine, to go up to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and carry out Ribat (i.e., religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) there. This was in order to stand up against the calls from the sides of the 'herds' of extremist settlers this morning [July 22, 2018] to invade the Al-Aqsa Mosque and carry out Talmudic (i.e., Jewish) ceremonies in its plazas (Jews wanted to go up to the Temple Mount on that day due to the Jewish fast day of Tisha B'Av; see note below –Ed.)"

The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an "invasion." It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.

Tisha B’Av - Jewish day of mourning commemorating the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem (586 BCE and 70 CE) and the forced exile of most of the Jewish people from the land of Israel.

Preacher at Al-Aqsa Mosque, following terror attack there, glorifies Martyrdom, but suggests Jews\Israel is using the terror attack to take over the Mosque

Video of Sheikh Khaled Al-Mughrabi in his twice weekly lesson at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, referring to the terrorist attack that took place at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem on July 14, 2017, in which 2 Israeli border policemen were murdered

Sheikh Khaled Al-Mughrabi: "Let us return to what happened today (July 14, 2017). First of all, my brothers, we do not want anyone to criticize us. We view every person that defends the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the religion of Islam as a person that has abandoned his world for Allah, and view him as one of the righteous, the Martyrs (Shahids), and the God-fearing whose actions are acceptable in the eyes of Allah – but we say that it is possible that the supporters of Satan used him to achieve their goals… The police station – I remember this from when I was a child – is a place where a Jew was once killed. What did they do? They took over a whole building because a Jew was killed there. According to their customs, everywhere that [a Jew] was killed it is their right to place a memorial monument to the killed. This is something we know, and I am sure that everyone knows it, and it cannot be that anybody that wants to protect the Al-Aqsa Mosque would put the Al-Aqsa Mosque in this dangerous situation unless, as we said, they are using their tricks to draw this person into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and that is what happened in our opinion."

Image and text posted on the official Fatah Facebook page

Posted text: “Fatah came to us, like a beautiful rose that blossoms out of a wound, like a spring of pure water that waters a desolateness of salt. And suddenly, we rebelled against our shrouds and stood upright. And suddenly, like Jesus, we were resurrected. Regardless of how late they may be, they will come.
[Syrian poet] Nizar Qabbani”
